The successful candidate will have 5+ years job-related experience, including a minimum of 100 sites project build experience.

This must include experience of managing all aspects of telecom equipment deployment including: customer relationships, project plan of record, project schedule, cost, inventory, billing & invoicing, change control, ASP process adherence, compliance, and deliverables.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate equipment deployment with Service Providers and any other disciplines that interface with the Customer Network facilities, central office, or Cell Site properties and access
• Direct or complete market level Equipment deployment activities including, but not limited to the following:
• Site survey
• BOM required
• Coordination of:
• Dimensioning Engineering documentation
• Implementation Engineering documentation
• Integration Engineering and Data Translation documentation
• CIQ information
• Coordination and submittal of MOP documents
• Coordination of installation and integration resources
• Manages all request and changes to Data translation scripts
• Identify and manage all work required to complete and acquire NTP
• NTP handoff to services integration team
• Network equipment deployment problem solving encountered by the Service Providers
• Ensure that the agreed implementation schedules and guidelines are followed and enforced
• Submit regular daily/weekly/monthly progress reports
• Attend internal coordination and progress meetings, providing updates as needed
• Ensure that quality of the Service Providers has met standards
• Maintain a good working relationship with the Customer’s representatives and all disciplines involved in the project
• Coordinate activities and ensure that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in line with the project goals and objectives
• Maintain all project milestone data
• Requires sound understanding of core network connectivity and RAN network connectivity

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years job-related experience with project builds over 100 sites and experience managing all aspects of telecom equipment deployment
• Experience as a Switch, Field, or Integration Engineer
• Knowledge of the following products – AXE, Power PDU, GSM/UMTS cabinets, BBU power
• Proficient in MS Excel (creating/running macros, pivot tables, complex financial formulas, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Access (writing/running queries and creating reports
• Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, and Visio
• Strong understanding of project methods and processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor of Science preferred, or equivalent experience
• PMP Certification, or actively pursuing
