Long term Logistics Manager needed for Northern California market.

1) The candidate must have a strong understanding (experience) of developing and managing metric orientated Logistics processes and the ability to measure, analyze, improve and control the process after the initial implementation. Furthermore, the candidate should have keen problem solving abilities based on root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
2) The candidate must have previous experience handling day-to-day matters pertaining to logistics/distribution in the telecommunication industry and some knowledge of telecommunications materials and their functions. Must have previous experience working on large projects > 400 + sites and have the ability to learn techniques and acquire knowledge in a short period of time.
3) The candidate must be able to work closely with internal project managers, construction managers, the Customer, ASPs and third party logistics/warehouse providers. The candidate must have the ability to lead a team focused on success.
4) Strong IT skills a plus – WMS (warehouse management system), VBA, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
5) Understanding of PROPS C, PMI PMBOK is a plus 6)
