Job Summary
Directs, administers and coordinates the activities of the rural health clinics in support of policies, goals and objectives established by the CEO and the Board of Trustees. Directs and coordinates day-to-day operations and provides information to the CEO for use in planning, assessing patient care, budgeting, marketing, and informing the governing body on results of operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Texas License as a Registered Nurse, Associates Degree (BSN a plus). Addition of a Bachelors degree in a related field highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years in a supervisory capacity in a Health Clinic in either a rural or metropolitan setting. Able to function as Director of Nurses for clinical functions within the Rural health Clinic milieu.
- Leadership and management abilities with strong computer skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
- Requires ability to speak and hear clearly.
- Requires prolonged sitting and standing.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, or stretching.
- May require lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires normal vision range.
- High mental alertness with medium to high stress.
- Requires use of office equipment, such as computers, telephones, copiers, or calculators.
