Nick Shanker
Nick Shanker was appointed CEO of Dataworkforce in September, 2009 to spearhead the expansion of Dataworkforce as a global leader in delivering the top 20% of talent to the Telecommunications and IT Industries. Prior to joining Dataworkforce, Shanker spent 21 years with the Ericsson Inc.
In his previous role at Ericsson, Shanker was the executive responsible for New Solutions Introductions in North America. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing and industrializing the Fixed Broadband and LTE businesses ensuring availability of a strong portfolio of services, a robust supply chain and a well developed program management function.
Shanker also served as Vice President of Network Deployment for Ericsson's North American Market Unit including full P&L responsibility for the overall business. Prior to this assignment, Shanker was responsible for Supply & Logistics, Service Product Management and Field Services Operations. He was also selected to be part of the Prestigious Top 200 managers program at Ericsson.
Shanker received a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Houston and attended many advanced management-training courses throughout his 21-year career with Ericsson.
